CHOKE • CUBZOA (OFFICIAL MUSIC VID)

Going to hand ye over to Shane now as he takes ye down the road etc…

Thanks, Ray! Hi all, hope ye’re doing ok.

Before I get to the releases down the road, I want to tell ye about my new EP/Fundraiser for Pieta House as Ray mentioned earlier.

It’s a new EP out now of my music in support of Pieta House through Bandcamp as a download.

It’s 4 songs, including a cover of Billie Jean, and is available to download now from my Bandcamp page, www.bukl.bandcamp.com/cro-for-pieta-ep for only €5.

There are two songs that I had left over from my album that I reworked a bit, and an acoustic version of the song ‘Sympathy (,) Friend’ from the album. Young Adam Walsh plays additional guitar on track 2, The Hit. We had fun recording. All new recordings.

All proceeds will be going directly to Pieta House who, as ye might know, are a very important organization who provide support for people struggling significantly with their mental health.

Two of my friends passed away partly due to mental health issues, and I have struggled myself over the years, so this fundraiser means a lot.

If you don’t struggle yourself, you will certainly know someone who does.

Here is an excerpt from the letter of authority that Pieta sent me outlining the services that they provide:

If ye don’t know, Bandcamp is a platform for musicians to showcase their work, where fans can engage and buy those physical or digital products.

It’s very simple to purchase, just follow the link…www.bukl.bandcamp.com/cro-for-pieta-ep

(If you don’t have an account, it only takes a couple minutes to sign up as well, but you don’t have to create an account.)

Bandcamp do take a 15% fee but I will cover that myself so that all of each donation reaches Pieta House.

The EP has a bit of a Halloween vibe too!

I’m not sure how it will go because the fundraiser is through Bandcamp, but I hope you will consider it. It’s only a fiver after all, and a great cause.

Here’s the cover I did of Billie Jean (track 1 on the EP): https://youtu.be/LcSfPFALPsU?si=Kv14750u6jUs8VDF

Anyway, enough on that.

There are a good few nice ones coming down the road again this week.

First one is THE CRANBERRIES – MTV Unplugged. This is previously unreleased!
It’s coming out on November 7th on CD or Vinyl.
Here’s a bit more info on it:
“The Cranberries performed on MTV’s Unplugged in 1995 in promotion for No Need To Argue, but the audio has never been released, until now. Released in the full 9 song, 45 minute performance.

Following the release of their mainstream breakthrough second album ‘No Need to Argue’, the setlist for MTV Unplugged included selections from that pivotal album, including ‘Dreaming My Dreams’, ‘Ode To My Family’, ‘Empty’, ‘Zombie’ and the title track. The other tracks performed include the smash ‘Linger’ (from their debut ‘Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?’) and ‘Free to Decide’ and ‘I’m Still Remembering’, both of which were unreleased at the time and would subsequently appear in recorded form the following year on their 1996 album ‘To The Faithful Departed’.”

And on November 21st GUNS N’ ROSES are releasing Live Era ’87-93 as a 4 LP set:
The first official live album from Guns N’ Roses, recorded live across the universe between 1987 and 1993, is newly remastered from original stereo analog master tapes for the first time since 1999.

  • 4LP
    • Artwork has been revamped with full color graphics, expanded into two gatefold jackets housed in a slipcase with a poster. Pressed on 180-gram black vinyl.

Here’s a class version of ‘You Could Be Mine’ from it. Axl’s voice sounds great: https://youtu.be/7hwV9vql7b8?si=4i0pqMjAJDp1qVo6

Here’s the list of everything else coming out over the next few months. GREEN DAY and a new MEGADETH album the stand-outs for me. Nice MILES DAVIS box sets too:

Before I go, here’s the video of NEWDAD‘s recent in-store performance with us. Thanks to Tim for another great video!
