In October 1976 Bob Seger released “Night Moves”, his Ninth studio album, and the one that was to break him commercially. Within weeks of it’s release the band set out on a tour to promote it that criss-crossed the country for the rest of ’76 and most of ’77 . Unusually, every track of the album was played at some time on the tour suggesting that none of the material was regarded as “filler.” On this recording eight of the nine songs that appear on the record are featured along with three from the previous “Beautiful Losers” release. The remaining four tracks are from pre-Silver Bullet Band days including “Turn The Page” ,a cut from a ’73 release “Back In ’72” which, imho, is a much overlooked rock gem.
