Originally released in 2013 and produced by Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Yann Tiersen, Einstürzende Neubauten), Snow Globe is a collection of original compositions and seasonal classics, including the duo’s take on the mediaeval Latin carol,
‘Gaudete’. Unlike the bells and whistles, glitter and tinsel sets that crowd the market come Christmas-time, this Erasure album is possessed of something more in the wistfully, strangely subdued celebratory mould.
