Hope alls well with ye.

THE CURE album is great, “ and nothing is forever “ is such a beautiful sad song,

 and the listening party was great, congrats to those that won the spots and commiserations to those that didn’t … .the spots  have not arrived just yet but will only be a few days more id say. More marble vinyl on the way in the next week also!

Firstly on Saturday the 16th of November @ 2 pm,  we are delighted to welcome Sarah Hickey to the shop for the launch of her debut album on CD “ Fastener” .

Sarah is an up and coming Cork musician and we are delighted for her to perform in the siopa for us, play some songs from her debut album and sign copies of her CD.

Sarah will be accompanied by two other musicians on the day. If cant make it and want a CD copy signed email us please…cash appreciated for this instore.

Yep this one is a beaut….

The wonderful Jerry Fish will grace us on Sunday the 17th of November @ 4 pm.

Jerry will be performing songs from his truly excellent new album “ Dreaming of Daniel” , which comes out on Friday the 15th of November on both Vinyl record and Compact Disc.

Its a right honour for us to  host Jerry here in the shop,

The album is just  wonderful…here is a tune from it

So Jerry will perform tracks from the album accompanied by Cian Boylan on keys, sign records and CDs for folks and have the chats … .which I tell you will be warm and interesting…big character!!

 

Again, if you can’t make it in and would like  Jerry to sign your record or CD, just pop us a mail.

Shop is normally closed on Sundays but will open @ 3.15 before 4 pm kickoff and be open until after the instore … .really truly a top instore,  one to be celebrated ( what , what, what’s wrong with ye) so looking forward to it.

 

So main week for this week ( need to order the below ones in the next few days) is Friday Nov 22nd…we should/will have

Going to hand ye to Shane now as he takes ye down the road as usual….but just a couple of quick mentions from myself…Thin Lizzy acoustic vinyl now going to be available to us as indies coloured vinyl….our cap on it is 25 units im told…so if interested , ye know the drill folks.

 

Also , delighted to say we got stock today of the wonderful debut solo album by Joe Chester ( A Lazarus Soul) …first time on vinyl … .one press only,  just 250 copies on Red vinyl … .it sounds sweet!!!

Sound, Ray. Howdy everyone. Hope things are good with ye.
Delighted to hear that the Joe Chester album is ag teacht. Ray put me onto his album ‘Jupiter’s Wife’ a few years back. It’s an Irish classic in my opinion.
Will be picking up this, but fingers crossed Joe will put out his other solo albums on vinyl too in future.

Just an update on Noelle, she is ok. Recovering slowly but all is fine. We had to pop out earlier today for a check up, so apologies for the delayed newsletter.

Gutted that orange goblin got back in.

First one to mention today from me, the Delorean is at 88mph, is the MANIC STREET PREACHERS new album ‘Critical Thinking’. Great band. We missed this one last week.
There’s a few formats, including indies red vinyl.

And a big Irish release for February next year. INHALER are back with new album ‘Open Wide‘. There’ll be CD, indies coloured vinyl and Irish exclusive greeny vinyl.
