Hi Everyone,

Hope all is well 

Thanks for the support with the Talos/Olafur launch last week…its a special one.

The ship has sailed for pre-sale codes for the show in the opera house now.

General sale is midday on Friday the 30th.

We have circa 25 of the indies vinyl as well as blk vinyl and CDs left for punters of the shop.

So if you can’t make the show in September and want the album…let us know.

Right releases in the shop for this Friday the 30th of May include….

 

First things first … .there is going to be a class PULP “ More” listening party tomorrow thursday the 29th @ 6 pm.

The stuff we got looks class altogether.

We have about 20 spots left so if interested shout.

Folks are probably saying “ Jaysus Ray, will ya stop plugging it … .it lessens my chances of being victorious!” 

Well tough tonsils on that.

Also in with a chance to get a lovely tee shirt….i think they are all large in size … .so eat more or less in the next few days…you know your own requirements.

The tees are fab….they have the 36 shops doing the listening parties listed on the back of them…real bespoke job….will be raffling them

And then there is the really limited white label vinyl ( 40 euro) ….so maybe a draw for those also….will sort tomorrow evening!

So this Saturday the 31st of May at 2 pm we are delighted to welcome choice music prize nominee Curtisy to the shop for the launch  of  Curtisy and hikii’s upcoming collaboration album ‘Beauty In The Beast” on CD.

Instores instores!!

Delighted to announce we will have Declan Sinnott and Evelyn Kallansee (Evelyn & Dec) in with us for an instore on Saturday the 14th of June @ 2 pm.  They have written and recorded an album together called ‘Make for Joy’. It was released on CD recently and was RTE 1 ‘Album of the Week’.

Declan you may well know from his work with Christy Moore, Mary Black, Horslips, Moving Hearts etc. He produces, writes, sings and of course plays guitar with Evelyn.

Evelyn was born on the tropical island of Curaçao, had a music career in the Netherlands and lives in Co. Kerry now.

She has gone from singing in Les Misérable to acid Jazz and everything in between.

Together they have found a new path.

In concert you will hear all the songs from their album (and the stories behind them), a few of Declan’s songs and some new takes on old songs, including their latest single ‘No

Frontiers’. Two voices, one guitar and a warm uplifting attitude.

She’s touring the album around Ireland over the summer.

I was going to mention the CLIFFORDS as well. Well worth a listen as Ray says.

The big one for down the road to mention this week is the brand new album from SUEDE – Antidepressants out on September 5th!
We’ll be getting the CD, deluxe CD, black vinyl and indies coloured vinyl with poster.
