Lots going on this week again!!

Was in to see THE Cliffords last Saturday evening in Coughlans.

I was seriously impressed with them.

Jarvis has a line on the new Pulp album ( its wonderful btw)

“ i was born to perform”

The singer in THE CLIFFORDS could have written it … .rightly impressed i was … .seriously tight the band are … .real potential…potentially the biggest band to ever come out of Cork (in my opinion.)

Releases in the siopa for this Friday the 6th of June include…

There was a new BIG THIEF album announced yesterday….and we have a lovely raffle prize on offer.

 We are getting a white label test pressing…wait for it….signed by the band….to raffle as a competition.

Preorder the album ( pay for it upfront i’m afraid) on vinyl , indies only vinyl or cd and you will be entered into the draw for the signed test pressing.

Shane will share a photo of the signed TP now and we were told to say this below

“All signed sleeves will vary in appearance and won’t always match the mockup exactly”

I mentioned Jarvis and PULP above….we have some tote bags left, so anyone who buys the Pulp album from us over the weekend we will give you a tote bag with it…..while stocks last….not many maybe 15 totes left.

In other news, we have two quality instores coming up

First one is Declan Sinnott and Evelyn Kallansee on Saturday the 14th june at 2 pm, the duo will be playing songs from their newest album, signing cds and having the chats after.

Then the following tuesday evening the 17th of June @ 6 pm we will have 

49th & Main in with us….the Kilkenny duo release their debut album on Friday the 14th of June

The band will perform for us and sign records/cds after and have the chats ….

I really like their sound, they are travelling to support their album, so hopefully we will support them in return.
