Firstly here are releases for this Friday the 5th of December…

It’s the most important three weeks of the year coming up ….RSD is our busiest  day by a long way but these 3 weeks are more crucial to how your year is….so far the year has been solid so hopefully the next 3 weeks are good….very important to get fuel in the engine for the cold winter months….RSD is different,  as in you buy in all the stock that you sell on the day…whereas the next 3 weeks you hope to move stock that’s sitting on the shelves out the front door….again ill ask folks like every year if they have records away with us, could they try get in and collect them please.

Its really a f%%king Ad tonight Tel….as again im also going to ask if ye can send folks our way, we would be delighted to look after them…Records, CDs , nice bits of HIFI Rega and Audio Technica our main brands….so if someone in your circle is looking for something we sell, we would love to look after them….new show in town as well this year so im conscious this Christmas maybe a little trickier….so as always your support is  really appreciated.

Right so, thats that done…

Shane, I’m stealing your thunder kid so ill let you at…

Haha, no worries, Ray, sure you were at the gig! Nice tune that one, good band, I’d say they were great live alright. The album is called ‘The Set Up’ and is about the opioid epidemic in the US in part.

Hi everyone, hope ye’re good!

First one I’ll mention is LEONARD COHEN – In Concert at the BBC 1968. Real early days here. Here’s a bit more info about it:
“Leonard Cohen’s appearance on 20th March 1968 in a BBC television special had a huge impact and contributed greatly to his success in this country. We are delighted to present eleven of the songs he played, recorded in excellent sound. Backed by a select group of UK musicians including Danny Thompson and Dave Cousins, Cohen performed seven tracks from his debut LP. The remaining tracks appearing on subsequent records, with the exception of There’s No Reason You Should Remember Me. Comes with full recording details and extensive sleeve notes.”

That’s out on vinyl on the 6th of February! I think I prefer his later stuff but overall most of his music is great.

A good bit away but I was listening to him doing the newsletter so I’ll mention that there are four 2 LP reissues of GARY MOORE records coming out at the end of April: ‘Bad For You Baby’‘Close As You Get’‘Live at Bush Hall 2007‘ and ‘Old New Ballads Blues’

And for any metal heads out there, SODOM – Get What You Deserve is getting a deluxe reissue treatment. Will be available on 3 CD, 2 LP and Deluxe Box Set at the end of February.

Here’s a list of everything else I can see today:

Bit of a different newsletter day for me today, was in the siopa with Adam earlier as not as much to do with newsletter and online orders busier at this time of year.
Anywhoo, think that’s all folks.
Mind yourselves. Slán.

Thanks Shane

Sin e for next this week really folks

Thanks for listening and crucially thanks for supporting us
